About the Author

Sue Pritchard began full-time professional real estate investing in 1991 after receiving a year of investor education as well as hands-on experience and mentoring during several initial transactions. Sue pursued and received a real estate license in her third year of investing to provide her with additional expertise and property access specifically for her real estate investment business.

Having participated in over 100 real estate transactions over that time, Sue gravitated to doing Lease Purchases to help move her properties, particularly those with difficult features to sell. But gradually she preferred to use Lease Purchases not just to dispose of property, but also to help those who could not get a mortgage by conventional means.

“Helping those less fortunate to experience the American Dream of
home ownership without getting overextended is one of the
more satisfying aspects of working in the Lease Purchase world.” - SMP

After many successful transactions, Sue began experimenting with acquiring properties by Lease Option. By doing so she leveraged her capital, making it easier to spend the money on rehab costs and flips instead of buying the property outright.

Even though Sue’s experience includes acquiring properties from pre-foreclosures, and post-foreclosure in the recessionary times of the early 90s, she has bought and held, bought and flipped, bought, rehabbed and rented, used short sales, seller financing, creative financing, partnering, wholesaling and probate purchasing, all to great success, but none more successfully than using the Lease Option and Lease Purchase.

In The Lease Purchase Book, she’ll even show you how to do the “the Sandwich Lease” - lease/purchase to buy the property and lease/purchase it to the seller, without ever owning the property!
